I went to myer today, saw a sunbeam em6910 with a new steam tip. Does anyone know where can I get one? It doesnt have the "nipple" like the old one which make it easiler to clean.
Take your old steam tip into Myer and do a quick switcheroo while no-one is looking
Seriously, you could ring the 1800 Sunbeam coffee number and ask them who your local service agent is, then call them and ask if they can on-sell the part. I think some people have tried this in the past without success though...
Ive sent an email to Sunbeam in NZ to see if they can do it (including a part number and a picture of it). Sent it on Friday, so hopefully should hear back soon
I have played around with this tip for some time now. (probably for the past 2 months)
The main difference is the bulbous shape which is so so much easier to clean than the previous design. I didnt find that the steaming process was any better or worse.

Thats what im aiming for~~I found the old steam tip is really hard to clean
Sunbeam NZ have pointed me to a service agent, they did say you have to buy the whole steam arm, not just the tip. Cant be bothered enquiring any further, but at least it can be done
Asked one of the sunbeam representitive in myer. She told me i have to take my machine to the service center and change the whole steam arm. Does anyone know is there any different between the steam arm of the new machine and the old machine? If there is no different, Ill just order the whole "STEAM ARM with the new TIP", and un-strew the steam tip and install it by myself.
