    Hansom is he NOT
I assume you are the Walter Raleigh-type AM (although comparing to your avatar pic you could also be the king)

Im wondering about the king - is he estimating the size of his next codpiece?

The aircon unit is a bit of an anachronsism.

Alan was complaining that they werent guilty of the charges that had been brought and theyd just been found guilty and sentenced to hang.

Errol replied that Alan knew he was guilty of something deserving of the punishment.  ;D
Ahhh a great move and some good old fashioned actors.

I got snapped speeding some years ago ( did not think it was me, as was being overtaken by another).. Came home with a crocked smile and my wife asked what was wrong..

I showed her the ticket, explained what had happened and she asked why I was not mad..

I replied.... Cause think of all teh other time I got away with it..

Some time later, I belted told off my boy for breaking something.. He cried that it was not him... I replied, well think of the things you have done that I have not found out about.. He stooped crying and walked away with a smile on his face.. I have always wondered what teh hell he had done 8-)

One can always find a bright side, ya just have to look..

Its fine with these machines in an open gathering type environment with coffees being served adhoc but the annoying part is when you are making coffees to serve all at one time (and you are supposed to be playing host and your guests arent coffee snobs/geeks). Its then the slow steaming or ong cycle time makes things frustrating.

Aah gotcha kaanage, yes I now see your point. Very true.

The OP will need to judge on his papas likely serving regime to decide if a EM6910/Sylvia/Zaffiro/Picolo (or the current even Gaggia Classic) is suitable.
Absolutely. We can but offer personal experience (good or bad) or things observed to help along the way

Saw something interesting yesterday arv at church. A gathering pre service of around 40 odd people, say 25-30 of them drinking coffee...

A friend brought in their 6910 and it went for a couple of hours constantly bangin out shots and milk and didnt miss a beat.
I did the same thing with one of my Gaggias (either one of my Classics or my Carezza) and my NS MCF at my brother-out-laws birthday a couple of years ago. I went through close to 1kg of beans during the course of the evening.  Ive lugged my Carezza to numerous outings with my Lux for smaller gatherings.

Great stuff Chris- thats where this type of machine really becomes useful. Big gathering where quite a few milky coffees are required. 6910 (if working ), HX or dual boiler are the go if you have more than say 4 cups back to back...

A certain site owner did a couple of thousand back to back on his HX...Human tired and stopped before machinery did
Yeah I hear ya, it will be interesting to see if the workout did anything to the life of it... :-/

    particulary as we have one...

They had it coupled with a Rocky which someone else brought along with a Sylvia. The Sylvia was left off.

Was pretty impressive and along the lines of hugz lovely papas requirements...

Later on they emptied it, cleaned it and took it home, presumably to have a coffee and relax  ;D

A Sylvia, EM6910 or even machines such as the Isomac Zaffiro and Vibiemme Domobar Piccolo are just as frustrating to use for large numbers of people.
[edit]:frustrating to use for large numbers of people who want milk drinks.
