Re: Learning how to make espresso with my 6910 again

    Hi AM:
This picture can clearly see the pressure gauge. Just wanna ask, did i put too much pressure to the machine? Though this shot turns out really sweet.

That looks like a good extraction rate. And Id be judging the pressure and temperature (in the absence of real instrumentation, and probably even in the presence of real instrumentation) on the results in the cup.

      Sweet sounds right to me.

ps--does your sig line indicate a RED Reg Barber???

It is simply because we are using a different grinder~~~

          Tony,
did you have any problems fitting the new collar? I am pretty sure mine is worn out as I have put a new group head seal and the porta filter still goes quite a long way past 6 oclock.
This will teach me not to be heavy handed, machine is about 2yrs old.

I have a very interesting finding. I cleaned the shower screen this morning. I noticed the shower screen sit ~5mm into the basket. I found out by re-inserted both shower screens back to the seal and leave it on top of the basket.

                    Damn~~"this machine" leaks AGAIN!!!!!
Don;t know why. maybe the caffetto harden the seal. Damn!!better not use caffetto for back flushing again.
