Thanks Anger Management.
By full system flush... u mean putting some Cafetto in the water tank and flushing it through?
Ill try that again and if not, take it somewhere...
Cheers
Cafetto is a general term as to one of teh cleaning agents..
From a tank and de scale point of view, I would look at a descaling agent first...
See sponsors to the left...
I would tend to think the basic Cafetto cleaner or other like agent, may be a little foamy in the first instance.. But I am sure, that some may have used it previously..
Not really the ideal formula for the cleaning of the hard scale that may have built up in ya system.... But would remove any stale oils etc
Remember, lots of flushing and a shot or two to condition the head and PF after cleaning (What ever product you wish to chose)..
Then try the first shot ya self... Just to make sure its all OK...
Note: A couple of CSs recommend Bleach and Dishwasing powder as cleaning agents.... Thus not being of a closed mind... Your call

i reckon you got a blockage somewhere? and your idea of no-backflush may point in this direction.
Well you got a few choices
take it to someone for a look
try some descale via the tank to see if it helps
crack it open and have a look yourself
if you open it up start simple, start near the pump
confirm water is being pumped either by looking at plastic pipes
(try intorducing a few air bubbles for visuals)
or taking off a pipe 1 at a time if you cant see (copper pipe)
once confirmed move to next juction / join check pipes for blockages while they are off.
remember that is 240 inside BE CAREFULL as there may be water !!!!
dont let water hit anything and cause a short
the pump should move a lot of water unrestricted
I would support items in highlight above..
Unless you have teh skills and teh tools... Stay away from getting into the guts of teh machine...
If you were up teh road... I would be happy to take a look... But a bit far away.
My gut feel is a blockage / crap in a pump / solenoid valve some where..
1: A full system flush if possible and do it more than once...
If that does not work.. Then some one will need to take a close look.

Talk Coffee, Chris I think it was from memory... I sent you an e-mail and left a message on your voice mail about 3-4 weeks ago and got no response from either... I accept that the machine is not that common and you may not be able to help, but a response in some form is just common decency.
Maheel,
Thanks for your response.
Yeh youre spot on, no or very little water coming out the grouphead, but the pump seems to be making the same noise as when it was working properly, so I dont think there is a problem with the pump.
The machine doesnt have a 3 way valve... so from what I understand no need for the backflush.
Of the many thousands of members not 1 can offer me any assistance...
Considering I put my faith in this site in the first place and purchased the machine from here 2nd hand, its disappointing that no one can offer any help...
I dont want to come across bitter, but not receiving any assistance on this issue is disheartening as my first impressions of this site were so high...
