  • Silvia technicians manual

    Hi All,
    just wondering if there is any such thing as a Silvia technicians manual?
    I have contacted Rancilio - Italy by email asking the same question but havent had a response as yet.
    My specific question is which is thermostat 1 and which is 2?
    As you are looking at the boiler with the front facing you, which is left and which is to the right?

    Hi Sooty,

    Do a search on "repair Silvia". You will find that Alan Frew has written a great guide.

      I have been searching for the last 15 min but cant find his article, only generic responses.
      Did he write an in-depth on the Silvia?
      Is it a Google search youre recommending?

                Thanks guys... My PC has died and using an old backup... a EEE.

                Thus some of my search tools and saved links were not at hand... Thus it took me a few min to find :-)

                As to arrogant ... Many companies will not provide service manuals for any number of reasons... And include issues such as = Un trained / not qualified / or that an agent has the service rights under a contract...

                My gripe is that they offen do not reply and advise you or direct you to the local agent... Then again.. I do feel sorry for the poor person looking after the info inbox as I am sure that many may not have a great command of english and many requests may not be well presented.. From a Quality perspective the Companys should look at this.... As it leads to clients perceptions of lack of focus etc..

                Any way... Trust the guide helps... Lots of great stuff on hs site.

                        Because Management like to tick boxes, but dont own Quality as they should..

                        True Quality is a responcibility of every one and management must support and take ownership; not just subscribe to it on paper... TBM the way of many today...

                        I hate Audits because when it points to management; they often say its not their issue and to go se the Quality Manager :
