Did you really say Sylvia and Expresso?

You will be cursed with 12 months of undrinkable sink shots now.
Thats a bit rough...  How about every 1 in 4

Plus a formal apology to Jetblack Espresso

    Ok

I went down to Jetblack expresso with Wife and 2 kids in tow
looking to get my new Sylvia and K3

after speaking to the lovely Harriet at jetblack expresso she asked me questions about my coffees etc

she then explained to me the differences between the rocky/k3, letits etc

and she also made a latte with the machines I was looking at for me also - was yummy btw

i walked home with a Lelit Combi

    got home set it up

I was was either very lucky as I managed to pull off a decent shot
straight off the bat and made myself a beautiful cappa ( imo anyways )

    so one happy camper here
Congratulations Hung, sounds like the people at Jetblack looked after you very well.

grab your single basket and put it in the cupboard and forget about it, use your double basket much much better and will get consistent great shots. if you can pick up seom Synesso baskets they are even better.

keep temp surfing, and experimenting and you will work it out soon enough and be getting great shots from this great machine!!

enjoy the journey and may ungraditis not strike too soon. ;D ;D

I purchased silvia + rocky doserless ~ 2 weeks ago, love it! Only trouble is trying to get a good shot through its single basket... that and the mrs is having a moan because she struggles with her...

    Hi again Hung

By all means, check out the Lelit, then come and see the GEE in action. I think when you see its functionality you might want to either stretch your budget or hang on to the sunbeam a little while longer till you can afford what I believe would be a significant upgrade.

    Cheers
    Den
