  • Pressure Guage on EM6910

Thought id just start up a quick thread on the pressure guage on the EM6910.

As handy as i know it can be, who seriously uses the thing anymore...?

i think i watched mine for like the first day or two after i bought the thing, but completely forgot its existence until my wife said "that machine your looking at has that fancy guage thing your one has".

Well. I do, to dial in my grinder for subsequent shots (I need it to go into the overextracted section). I actually tried to measure the pressure at the top of the optimal range... see my previous thread for details.

Yeah your other threads pretty sweet Quickling As I said I know it can be pretty handy, like dialing in/tamp adjustment/etc, but I personally look at the colour and consistency of the flow from the spout, along with an approximate shot time.

Maybe I should get back into watching the dial again...???
