EM6910 leaking grouphead at startup / when using hot water spout

    Just going from memory, I don't think the EM7000 has an anti-drip valve as it's hot water system is different to the EM6910. The 7000 uses a solenoid valve to control the hot water flow between the group head and the wand. You problem may be caused by a solenoid valve fault. This solenoid valve is not the same one as the three-way solenoid which releases pressure in the group handle. There is a spare parts manual for this machine in the documentation section.

      Great thanks - yep did some further reading and confirmed there is no anti-drip valve.

    Looks like I am having the same issue with my EM7000.
    Did you resolve?
    Did you replace the 3 way Solenoid?

      No sorry - the machine went to a family member and have since gotten a BDB - didn't bother me enough in the end to try and fix but, by all reports, will likely be a partially blocked 3 way.
