I reckon with low pressure per-infusion, it would have to be a boiler, cause lower pressure through a thermoblock will heat the initial low-pressure water up too high (I think...)
Pretty exciting though - couldnt find anything on google yet.
I was told earlier this year by Breville that they still had all the gear to bring the Ikon back, but just werent inclined to at that point in time. Maybe things have changed or maybe its entirely new - who knows.
One things for sure, if history repeats itself, a few weeks after its launched youll probably be able to get it for half RRP or free with every Smart Grinder. ;D
That really does look like a baby dual boiler. Doesnt say whether its got a boiler or thermoblock though. I might hold off my purchase of a DB to see what this is like.

Buy a 900 when you see one in store as they are continually on back order with us! The BES840 is NOT a boiler..... its a PID controlled thermo-coil.
