Unfortunately too late - they have already shipped it back. (That would have been a good idea)
Any one else ever install one of these?

IIRC the pumps plastic housing has a slot for the thermostat to slide into, wired in series with the pump by crimping on one female and one male 6.35mm spade connections to the thermostat wires
I think the slot fits this style of thermostat? but I dont know the correct temperature
eBay link removed per the http://coffeesnobs.com.au/general-ne...icy-rules.html
Why not ask the service centre to do it?

Silvia and the B-85 pump protector thermostat
Can any one share with me instructions for installing a B-85 pump protector thermostat on a Rancilio Silvia?
I am considering buying this one Rancilio Silvia Espresso Machine Parts: silvia pump thermostat ulka and Pump Protector Thermostat - Espresso Parts
My story is typical. Silvia is connected to a timer so she is warm when I awake. My infant son flipped all of the switches one night, and by the time I woke up the next morning, it was too late. Now she is at a service center getting a new pump. You can imagine how much I miss having her! I don't want to give up the timer warmup and thought this protector thermostat might prevent another user error. Has any one installed one?
Thanks!Tags: None
