  • Crema II 4820 Steam Tip for Sunbeam 6910 working well

Hi all. Long story short, steam pump had to be replaced on my 5 year old 6910 and had resultant issues with steaming - tried and tested technique wasn't working. Playing around, tried a friend's steam tip from his Crema (?) 4820. Works a treat on the 6910! Way more control and more dense velvety foam for a shorter period before plunging. Maybe because the hole is slightly smaller or because tip is slightly square shaped ??? Whatever - I'm sticking with it. Cheers

Whatever works CJ! How's the Latte Art going with that nice microfoam?

I'm no artist unfortunately - generally hit or miss :-)

I also have a Sunbeam Cafe Crema, a problem has started where the steam comes out as the coffee is extracting into the cup so I have to put a cup under the steamer to catch the water. Is this something I can fix myself being an aged mere female?
