Suggest you check this thread http://coffeesnobs.com.au/milk-froth...rd-milk-2.html in the Milk froth and bubbles area Milk Froth and Bubbles - Page 2 lots of good info available there.

    EM6910 milk steaming problem.

    G'day!

I recently picked up a pre-owned EM6910 and been having problems with texturing milk (shot extraction looks ok so far). It just ends up thin and watery like just hot milk, not the silky smooth consistency as I would expect. It gets hot quickly but the milk
is not frothed properly when it reaches 65'c. the steaming pressue looks ok (for a thermal block machine) does not look like its blocked internally, I've set the steaming to hottest and wettest like many have suggested but to no avail. I've had better result with the Breville
    BES870 at work.

    Any ideas? Thanks.
