  • Machine for school students use?

Hi Coffee Snobs, I work in a high school and we'd like to get a machine for students to learn to operate as part of a hospitality course. Unfortunately our budget is only $1000-$1500, any ideas on a model which would suit our needs?
    Thanks in advance

    (welcome to CoffeeSnobs!)

Second hand commercial should be close to "do able" in that price range.

You didn't say where you are located?!?!

Best bet might be to post the query via the "quote form" and one of the site sponsors might be able to point you to a trade-in machine or similar.

Thanks Andy, we're in Brisbane. The machine would be paid for through funding allocated to the school, so I think it would need to be new with the receipt etc..

Could they be sold as warranted refurbs?

If you are training for hospitality use, remember you will definitely need a commercial type grinder also.
Certainly, try contacting your local wholesale coffee suppliers...you may score a "loan" package if you approach it the right way !

            Absolutely...

Zero capital outlay and the ability to "expense" any loan costs.

            Mal.
