Rancilio silva porta filter handle not locating central

Hi all,

just a a quick question, I recently purchased a silva second hand, and it's had a recent service and seals replaced etc etc...

my question is; is this normal for the porta filter handle not locating to the centre of the machine?

Hi ro11ly,

Yes, that is normal. As the seal ages/compresses, the group handle will move more towards centre. Probably a good indicator of when to replace it.
