    Ah, Ok...

I bought a large straight edge screwdriver from SuperCheap and then ground it down so that it was a very neat fit into the slot of this fitting. After applying a little heat from a small butane torch and then using the custom screwdriver, it came off quite easily...

Hope it does for you too...

    Mal.

    Thanks Mal,

Yes have seen it but it doesn't specifically mention removal of the lower boiler joint.
I was just hoping someone else had already tried. Picture of part I'm trying to remove below.

  • Removing the Lower Boiler Joint (jet breaker) from Lelit

Does anyone know how to remove the Lower Boiler Joint from a Lelit/Quaha/Imat etc without damaging it?
It is supposed to unscrew but I can't seem to loosen mine without damaging it (it is soft brass).
It is part # MC138 and channels the water into 4 x jets before hitting the showerscreen.

    Thanks
    Taan
