Brew Thermostat has the Red Dot.

You should use some thermal paste (heat transfer paste) between the underside of the thermostat and top of boiler. JayCar Electronics will have it.

Thanks for all your help - I now have the part, and one final question.

There are two thermostats on the boiler. Following my photo above, is the brew thermostat the one on the left? (And therefore the steam thermostat on the right)

    Thanks and a happy holiday!!

    John

    Yes... It was sooooo hard!

Google #1 hit when I searched Silvia V2 parts Sydney... https://www.coffeeparts.com.au/parts...o/silvia-v1-v2

Yes- anytime. What were your credit card details for the consulting fee?

Rancilio Silvia v2 Stopped heating, but still steams

As per the title, my Silvia v2 decided to stop heating up yesterday

Power on, power light comes on, but temp light does not
If I turn steam on, temp light comes on, boiler heats up, temp light goes off, steam comes out
    Pump works
I checked the kill switch, and it can't be pushed, so I assume it's in - as per photo

Anybody have any ideas for next steps?

    Thanks
    John
