Re: silvia boiler shortage in Sydney?
Oh, tell me more please Chris.
Ive heard some stuff about having to replace both the boiler and element if something goes wrong on the Sylvia. Whats the advantage of getting a boiler and replacable element (is that a new boiler or the original one). Would one consider it as a preventative measure on a baby Sylvia or only if/when things go wrong? and if you add the possiblity of doing PID once the warranty has run out to the mix does that change things?
Thanks! Sammy

Re: silvia boiler shortage in Sydney?
Hi Anthony,Originally posted by asugamilla link=1194556307/0#0 date=1194556307I have put my beloved silvia in to get a replacement boiler and the
company thats doing it has told me that there is a shortage of them
in Sydney and that there is going to be a bit of a wait.
Its a 2006 model with the new type boiler - i.e. element is
welded to the boiler.
has anyone else had this problem lately ?
Anthony
Plenty of Silvia stock in Melbourne
I have a guy here who can tap your original boiler and add a replacable element to it- like the original Silvias were.... Its a cheaper fix and better in the long term...
