Finally fixed. Got a replacement drip tray while they were at it, as the old one had corroded a bit. Would have liked a quicker turn around, but Christmas crisis averted.

Well, I have taken it back to where I bought it, and they are getting Sunbeam to fix it. So far all good, except for the two weeks they expect it to take!!! I guess I will have to survive on plunger.

Sounds like what happened to mine. My 6910 was leaking from the back, to the point where it set off the circuit breaker!!
Rang sunbeam..... whole new machine (Although it did take 2 weeks)

and I got to keep all my old parts (portafilter, drip tray etc)

no - r u within warranty? i wouldnt open the casing, but i would go for warranty. in my knowledge the only place where i would think water would come from NORMALLY would be drip tray (OPV leaks into this also), and like you said water container if over filled or seal leaking,,,, mmm SB CALL MAN

    6910 leaking puddles

I have been using my 6910 for a while now and enjoying it immensely. However recently it has begun leaking onto the bench leaving small puddles and I have no idea why.

It isnt from under the drip tray, as this is still dry. Similarly, pulling the water container out shows it is not from there either.

Drops are dripping from the right hand side of the casing at the base, just where the drip tray butts up. The water is coming out of the main casing, not the drip tray.

    Has anyone had this before?
