Hi,
Im afraid I dont know much about coffee making but I do know good coffee when I taste it.
I am looking to spend approx £500 on a coffee machine, I want is primarily to make expressos.
I used to get expressos at work which were thich, without being anyway gritty or sticky, wonderful aroma and great intense taste without any bitterness and almost sweet aftertaste.
Sadly I no longer work at the place that served this wonderful coffee and have no idea how it was baing made. So I realise a nit of experimentation is likely in order.
So any recommendations you can make as to the machine and potential coffees used would be most grateful.
Also having skimed the site I see there are other machines I may need to consider such as grinders and roasters please let me know the full set of equipment I will likely need.
Also is it better to buy a mid range coffee maker new or try and pick up a top of the range one 2nd hand.
