    Re: Sunbeam woes

    Update:

Well after a lot of soul searching and realising that Sunbeam just dont cater for this type of customer I decided to pickup one of these bad boys:

Couldnt be happier now - I have a real machine and I know it will be supported by agents who actually know what is involved in creating a good cup of coffee.

To anyone who is interested in the sunbeam 6910 - for its price it is a great machine and performs well. Problem is that you cannot be guaranteed that performance will last. Also unless you are prepared to make your coffee the way sunbeam wants you to dont expect much in the way of customer support.

The 6910 is still alive and well and has taken up residence at the office

Also guess i wont be spending too much time in this forum anymore - looks like i need to bump myself up to the pointy end ones

Wow...lucky duck! youre sure to have fun and pull some GOOD shots with that baby!!

As my kids would say,..."Jealllllllous much???? " and to speak their language Id have to reply "well daaaaaar!!!!!"  *drool*

I plan to run my 6910 into the ground (not sure how long that will take though  )  and one day,.. when the planets have aligned correctly...the universe will send me an awesome quality espresso machine,.... erm..maybe not quite as pointy end as yours  though. I cant see the planets aligning that well.

I have a sunbeam em6910, that brewing guage I wonder is it really a pressure guage? they dont label it as pressure guage in the manual.
