Re: Water temperature in Brasilia Lady

I tried that. It keeps the heating element on for longer. But when dispensing water through the group it seems to produce more steam and less water. Is this a problem?

A thing to mention is that the water level rod inside the boiler has been shortened by about 5mm as it snapped and I couldnt find a replacement anywhere. I just ended up rethreading it. Could this effect the temperature?

    hi
try small adjustments at a time, run some water then give the machine a chance to settle before testing water temp,
if your temp gauge isnt changing try another gauge

    Water temperature in Brasilia Lady

    Hi

Im am having difficulties adjusting the temperature of my Brasilia Lady. It seems to be stuck on about 85 deg no matter how much I increase the boiler thermostat. If I increase the thermostat all the way up then heaps of steam comes out of the group (along with water) when I press the brew button.

This machine has a cappillary type thermostat going into the boiler. It doesnt have a pressure-stat.

Any help/advice would be much appreciated
