Sunbeam EM7000 Thermoblock Corrosion?

I used a circular wire brush that would normally go in a drill, but by hand, and mine came up a treat.

Pretty common sight on these, no reason to be worried. Hit it with a small wire brush to get rid of the worst of it then run a few backflush cycles.
Make sure to remove the seal and scrape away any solids underneath it as well.

Sunbeam EM7000 Thermoblock Corrosion?
Hey Guys,
Anyone come across this before.. removed the shower screen, looks like rust pits or corrosion (photos attached)?
Would it be worthwhile (necessary) to replace the whole Thermoblock?
