I see the Silvia and Lelit often recommended, within this price range. But honestly, I have no idea if either one would suit us.
Looking for something I can make (usually) 2 flat white coffees at a time with. That hopefully doesn’t require ritual magic and sacrifices each morning to get the temperature and whatever else right, and isn’t petulant or overly demanding when it comes to cleaning the whole thing.
We’re accustomed ro double-shot flat whites out, which apparently is how they should be made anyway. Correct me if I’m wrong, of course.
So, call the budget $1500 tops. Grinder will be extra, no problem. Probably around $500 should do...?
Willing to learn the “art” of making a good coffee, btw. No doubt there will be errors to start with. General advice here also welcome.
Thanks in advance.
