For anyone else playing along at home, leaving it to air for several days (remaining unplugged) should be your first port of call. Not plugging it in to find out how much smoke you can let out.

You were right prh. I used a hair dryer and after a few hours it recovered! Cheers

Let the machine dry out for a few days. You might be lucky.

?PC board on Sunbeam EM6910 dead?

Is the PC board on my Sunbeam EM6910 dead? I lay the machine down to clean the “group head” area forgetting there was water in the reservoir. It consequently flooded. When trying to subsequently start the machine the power light flashes green for a second and then nothing. Same again after turning the power on and off. Would the next step be replacing the PC board? Cheers Andrew
