  • Replacing lights in Rancilio L4 switches?

So I have a fantastic old Rancilio L4 machine which is all working well.
However, two of the switches that are supposed to have illumination don't light up.
The switches work properly and this is really me wanting to just get these cosmetic things working. The two on the left of the image illuminate, the two on the right don't.
I have looked at replacement switches, but I'd like to keep the aged aesthetic of the original switches - which are still working.

So my question is this - has anyone replaced the light bulbs in these kind of switches? Would I be able to buy replacement bulbs or replacement switches and remove the bulbs from a new switch to transplant into my old switches?

    Any suggestions or advice welcome.

Assuming the blue rocker switch fits a 22mm width cutout, they are available off the shelf from electronics suppliers (Molveno B418C1F000000).

The Coffee switch looks like it might be the same as the one on the Silvia in which case it is available from site sponsor Coffee Parts

Thanks. That part number for the Molveno is very helpful. I'll measure the hole and see if it's 22mm and I might grab one online. Also thanks for the coffee parts link. I had seen those switches on there when I bought some other parts to service this machine last year. I'll be on the lookout for second hand Rancilio switch parts too, if anyone has them.

A similar rocker switch on my old Brugnetti broke last year. I took it into a local electrical parts store and picked up a replacement for about $10 - they’re a standard size. I did have to give up my green switch for the red one they had in stock, but I got used to it 😆
