Checked with Coffee-a-Roma, looks like that is the US spec for 120V, also spec talks about max 1600W, which is 7A at 230V. They deliver the unit with a standard 10A plug.

Good question - the oven is on a dedicated 16AMP line, could connect there and just make sure we don't use both at the same time

It says it's got a 15A power draw, have you got a 15A outlet handy in the kitchen?

Breville Dual Boiler vs Quick Mill Silvano Evo

After my old Breville Dual Boiler died (it was at least 13 years old and I have no idea how many owners there were before me) I decided to downgrade to a used Bambino Plus. The automated milk heating an foaming is very good, but I miss the temp control I was used to for different coffees. Part of the reason for buying the Bambino was the space (the BDB is so wide!) so started loking at smaller PID devices and came across the Quick Mill Silvano Evo, which is priced just $100-200 above a new BDB. Few less bells and whistles but with temp control, shot timer, steamer and small foot print, it fits my spec. I have seen some negative thoughts about QM here, but no actual users or long term owners. The fact that Coffee-a-Roma are selling it, for me says quite a lot. I have had a few interactions with them, and they have been very positive. If there are any owners/users of Quick Mill machines and the Silvano Evo in particular - would love to hear back from you.
