DeLonghi Magnifica S. Can pick them up for about $700 and they'll do an acceptable job when fed good beans with the grinder set correctly.
If the workers are used to a percolator, this will be a huge upgrade.
They're very basic to maintain for a super auto, mainly just make sure the steam wand gets flushed and the outer panarello cover gets removed for cleaning if it's being used for milk. Descale periodically and pull the infuser every week and rinse it off.

Yep .... so now I've read it properly, ignore the ECM idea but the quote idea still holds.

Can you just clarify - you don’t want an espresso machine? Do you want an automatic machine? Or are you thinking more along the lines of a commercial grade batch brew filter machine like a Fetco?Originally posted by BelowAverageShots View PostOur office (10 people) percolator just produces the most awful, harsh, coffee, and an espresso machine is probably not going to cut it in terms of time spent making 10 coffees. Not sure on pricing or when it will arrive in Australia but this may be a small footprint option https://www.ecm.de/en/products/detai...ails/puristika
Also, the "get a quote from site sponsors" facility often produces some bargains: https://coffeesnobs.com.au/SponsorQuotes
