Hi,

Recently I added a Auber PID to my Gaggia Classic but I have noticed like the pump in constantly on/off while it's brewing, there is a different sound every time the out (AT) led of the PID lights up.

I also double check how I wired the PID but it is fine. I wrote to auber support and they answered me this:

One thing you can check is the connection of all wires that might carry high currents, such as wires to the SSR's pin 1 and 2, wires connected to the heater, wire connectors on the power button, brew button, and the wires to the pump. If these connectors are not firmly installed and are not making good contact, there might be a high contact resistance, which can cause a high voltage drop. Some of the old connectors on the boiler may get rusty or oxidized. If you have none of these, then try using the Gaggia on a different outlet to see how it goes.
I forgot that I found a burned burned heater connector while I installing the PID. It is still working but I don't know if this is the root cause of my issue. I've already tested with another connector and tried in all the power outlets but the issue continues.

I uploaded a video and some photos in: https://www.reddit.com/r/gaggiaclass...id_pump_onoff/

What other thing could I check?
