It should be a very simple process. What you're describing indicates that the cleaning disc isn't sealing properly. Contact CoffeeParts to see if this would suit your machine. https://www.coffeeparts.com.au/blind...hoCTcQQAvD_BwE

Barista Pro back flush issue
I purchased a Breville Barista Pro in June and just had the flush light indicator come on. I followed multiple YouTube videos for completion of the flush ensuring to utilize the single shot single wall basket in the portafilter and inserting the cleaning gasket with cleaning tab prior to starting the cycle.
In every video I’ve watched no water comes through the portafilter during the process. All water deposits directly into the drip tray from the bottom of the machine. On both occasions I tried the process, all water is running through the portafilter like you would normally see when pulling espresso shots. I thought maybe the gasket wasn’t seated properly so tried again, but same thing happened.
Had anyone run into this issue before? It’s as if the process isn’t working at all.
