Issue with LelitPL042TEMD PID - Big Temp drop during brewing
Hi,
I've a Lelit PL042TEMD PID. Had it for around 6 years.
Last year I discovered I wasn't really using the appropriate type of water filter, and my machine needed descaling and replacement pump at the last service in November 21.
I've since used a different Brita filter that deals more with limescale and I still regularly back-flush (water & chemical).
Over the past 6 months I've noticed my brew temperature drop by a much bigger range starting at 94 degrees finishing, after 25 seconds around 71 degrees. Previously it would only get down to low 80's, sometimes 79 degrees.
Is someone able to advise what might be at play here? Is my boiler cooked? If so, would it be better for me to replace with a new machine or get a new boiler?
Thanks for any insights.
