Outwestcoffee has the steam boiler available for $260

Certainly great news! I just recently had to refresh my o-rings so was a little bit confused as to why only a couple of the ports had compression fittings. But I guess cost does make sense. If these parts ever get out into the wild, I'd be interested in retrofitting the boilers in my machine so they'll actually stay properly sealed!

It's a new one. The earliest I've seen as I mentioned in the first post is a 2228 which is 9 weeks older than yours.

Looks like I won the Breville leaking lottery… for now….

I bought a BES920 from the Good Guys a week ago.
The serial number on a sticker in the water tank compartment says "..2237.." so I assume this is a recent(ish) model with the new fittings (fingers crossed).
If I open the case how can you tell which type of fittings they are?

    Steve

Can anyone who has bought online recently, say from appliances online, that they’ve received the new version?

I would have thought they were well and truly out there by now.

Asking as there’s not really any store stock near me.

    Cheers, Grant.

You just missed an opportunity to buy one for $849 from JB. Sign up for the JB HiFi Perks or monitor Ozbargain.

    Isn't the warranty 2 years?
Yeah, it's in getting repaired under warranty. A warranty repair and work order was approved by Breville over the phone within seconds of me explaining the issue. When I got to the local approved repairer 30 minutes later, a customer walked in behind me with a bes920 with exactly the same symptoms. Overheating, steam and water in teh gauge and lcd.

I've just fininshed repairing my old BDB so I'm not too worried about the time it takes for the other to come back to me now.

It turns out, I'm losing my mind.
I bought this one in December 2021. I bought one in December 2022 for my brother and got the purchases mixed up in my head.

Just need confirmation if possible that the serial number does appear on the box itself
Sorry wasn't able to check yesterday, have just done now. On the top of the box is a barcode with the serial number sticker under it, pictured is the box from a BES980.
