I have both schematics and wiring diagrams for Version III Semi-Auto (Manual) Silvias.
If you need either, let me know...

First question is if you have the European model (auto switch off) or the M model (manual switch off). I've the M model and installed a PID - having removed and replaced the switch wiring several times. The reason I ask is the M model is simple wiring from the switches to thermostats, boiler, pump etc. I'm not seeing how everything could light up at once without the circuit being changed. *
I suspect you have the E model (auto turn off) and, if so, then my guess would be that the circuit controlling the auto turn off facility has gone AWOL and needs replacing.
If you have the M model, then not so certain. Maybe remove the wiring on the three LHS switches controlling the brew, water only and steam -- but write yourself a wiring diagram as you unwire them. ** Note that each switch allows for 4 connections, but (from memory) most have three with 2 connected to the top and one below. Then re-connect the switches individually to see if there's some sort of continual circuit happening. Could be a faulty switch, which are very cheap compared to the circuit board mentioned above.
Obviously the best option is, if under warranty, return to the retailer.
* The circuit in the M model is pretty straightforward
** I mussed up my original diagram and when I first re-wired it, the steam light remained perpetually on until I moved a wire from top from/to bottom -- and then it worked,

Hi Tim, just checking, can I check how you know they all turn on at once?
The hot water switch only activates the pump, which is also activated by the coffee switch. So can’t be sure this is on.
And did you let it get up to steam temp? Which would be hard if water was cycling through the boiler.
Do you have a multimeter? Could just be the brew switch…

Rancilio Silvia V6 - all switches activating at once, can't turn off
Hi all! I have a Rancilio Silvia v6 that I've had for 1.5 years. As of this morning, when I turn on the power all of the functions (pour, water, steam) activate at once - all of the lights on each switch turn on and water starts coming out the group head. None of the switches on the machine are functional, eg pressing them does nothing to turn off the functions including the power switch, so it has to be turned off at the wall.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour, is it a known issue that I could try to fix? I've emailed the retailer as well but just thought I might see if anyone else has advice while I wait for them to get back to me.
