Has anyone tried out or owns this machine?
Any info on how it performs in the real world, used by a true coffee snob / espresso connoisseur, and not a general consumer.
Also any tech specs would be useful, as I couldnt find any online. The product is not available on kitchenaid.com , possibly discontinued?
Thank you in advance!
Hi Sio and welcome,
I did a search ^^^^^^^^ on the term kitchenaid over the last year and it turned up a plethora of results. For the money, its not highly regarded by CSers.
Id buy their mixer, thats what they do...I am not that crazy about their ideas of what an espresso machine is...:
While their mixer is great, it is way overpriced compared to some local brands. Ive had a KA and a full-sized Kenwood Chef, and the results in the pan are identical, leaving $100s in my pocket (after the ex- took the KA).
I wouldnt buy either the KA coffee machine or the coffee grinder.

We have the KA toaster - $300 plus, looks really nice and goes "ding" when toast is ready. Big deal. Just another well marketed Chinese bit of mass market kitchen dross. Sunbeam products are much better for much less.
Would you really want a coffee machine made by people who make overpriced flashy toasters? Ok ok...so I bought the toaster >.
A rebadged Chinese Gaggia for people who think upgrading is to buy a superauto. No offence.
