    Suggest you do a search in General Coffee Related section for "DIY Knock Box" theres some good ideas in there, including the option a a knock box with a lid...I find it keeps my wife happy by containing some odour

    :-[ Came back from wicked Sunday after 4 days and found so "special art" in the bottom of my little knock box. Much nicer now the cafetto has done its job :

    Dont leave them for too long, and if there are wet ones...

    They have been known to grow legs and escape... Check out the Puck Art section..

    I dont notice any smell from my knock box.
    Its a large one so if it was going to it would by the time it was full.

    In my wee home barista setup (E61 machine, grinder and Grindstein knockbox) Ive always found that pleasant (ground coffee) always trumps unpleasant (spent pucks in an open air knock box).

    hi guys,
    any thoughts on knock boxes and their smell? Knocking into a bin with a lid at the mo. keen to get a knock box but thinking it might smell out the place
