  • Solenoid Valves

    Hello guys, I been having problems with my coffee machine latetly (another post) and im pretty sure the 3 way valve is responsible for it.

    My question is, does anybody knows how to diagnose and fix selenoid valves?

    I will try to post pics of my progress cause I havent seen any here.

    Thanks for the help!

    Re: Solenoid Valves

    Hi Joe;

    How do you know is the solenoid, could be the pump or the restricter is block.

    Which machine do have?

    What is the problem?

    The solenoid is divided in two parts, electrical and mechanic. Enclose more information how machine works.

      Re: Solenoid Valves

      Thanks Renzo. I have a gaggia classic, I think is the selenoid because Im having steam going out the shower screen when the machine is in steam mode.

      Based on this http://home.surewest.net/frcn/Coffee/3way/2.html I thought that the only way for this to happen is the selenoid not closing to the full.

      Thanks !
