Powerpoint at low point next to water filtration system and pipes, yep! I must say, it doesnt get any more risky than that.
Hmm, as thought, bench tops are coming off @ Christmas for resurfacing, good time to change the filter/ PP layout in the interests of family safety :-[

God I wish I had taken a picture of the filtration system theyve got going at UWA club.. its not even connected to an espresso machine, but IT IS MONSTROUS. Six filter passing system standing at 2 meters high with a double loop and and triple osmosis setup.

The filtration is so amazing, that they can wash wine glasses with just hot water and theyll dry spotless. Absolutely nothing but H2O, raw.

Love that LOW Power point and the fact that it has its cover removed.
Ooops, :-/ is this bad/unsafe......I suppose it could end up with water in it if there was a failure with the water filter. :-[ Its for the dish washer on the other side of the cupboard. I stole the points trim for use else where.

Is that a cocky bait trap as well ????
Yep, we had a bit of trouble with cockies some time ago and the bait/trap is still a reminder of that time :

Installed new cartridges today. The secondary one has a softening agent as well. Purchased the filter system around 4 years ago from evil bay. Brought spare cartridges at the same time and purchased the anti-scale cartridge via Bombora earlier this week..

Heres the one we have, obtained through CosmoreX Coffee... 8-) It also comes with a small "fountain" type faucet fitting that you install in a convenient location around your sink somewhere.

Maheel, does the SCL10 just screw onto the steel coated flexi pipes?

I run a inline omnipure SCL10, i have it under the sink.
    coffeeparts sell them as well
I used a brass 3 way spliter from the cold tap then a inline tap then the filter then coffee machine

    filter about $25
    tap about $10
    3 way splitter $10
    those ssteel coated flexi pipes X 3 = +-$25

    total cost $70 ish

i dont but should run a  inline water pressure regulator but does not seem to vary much here

currently got the HX machine in the shed and just filling the  6900 via the hose sticking out of the bench

I have an under bench 2 cartridge system, sediment and charcoal. Spoke to one of our sponsors just yesterday and ordered/purchased a cartridge to replace the charcoal filter to look after potential scale issues. Will post photos and details as requested when I change the cartridge over.

Lets see photos of your filter setup

One of the often asked questions regards water softeners. I thought it would be handy if people could post pictures of their water filter setup along with the type/name/model of filter used and approximate cost.

I would start but I dont have one yet :-[
