OK - I have changed my profile!

The grinder the Mrs and I are using is a Delonghi KG100.

I am looking forward to absorbing as much as I can on this forum !

May I ask ... who actually runs this forum ? Is it a particular company or coffee maniac ?

I think if you do a search of the forum youll find a thread on photography.

I drank Campos for a while as it was handy before I started roasting my own.
I used to buy it when I was working in Nth Sydney and take it home to drink as the place I bought it from made it taste like $@!*.

If you bought your equipment on recommendation by Choice let me start by telling you that their reputation around here when it comes to coffee is far from what theyd like.

Do let us know what the grinder is because Ill guess now thats the first thing well recommend you upgrade in your search for better coffee.
A better grinder will improve the coffee you are already using.

Next step would then be a machine, depending on budget.

Alternatively, you could get into home roasting and save yourself some money because its cheaper than paying retail prices for roast coffee.
You can then put the money saved aside to get yourself a better machine.

    Its all up to you.

You havent said where you are; please update your profile as there are plenty of people here willing to help someone close by with some hands on training.

Sure ! Thanks for welcoming me to the forum.

I am relatively new to the wonderful world of coffee. I have for the past 3 years been learning lots and experimenting with different milks, beans, etc...

At home I have a simply Breville cafe Roma and a grinder (cant remember name but will update post once I get home). Both of these were the recommendations from Choice magazine a while back.

I try and purchase my beans from Campos in Camperdown and have also experimented with a few other onliine companies supplying fresh roasted beans.

I am however ready to take my next step and thankfully found this forum ! I want to look at either upgrading my little Breville or starting to do my own roast.

Now ... back to the camera front. The pictures seriously look amazing and I wouldnt mind knowing what kind of camera members use as I also plan to post pictures.
