  • New domestic coffee machine - Plumbing some advice / help

    Hay all,

I am very excited to be purchasing a Duetto Izzo from Chris.

We are doing some work around the kitchen, and installing a dishwasher. (So would like to prepare all the plumbing for the coffee)

Looking to install the appropriate plumbing to support the diswasher as well as the coffee machine.

I have also purchased the appropriate filtration / connections from Chris but was hoping for some advice on how this should be connected.

if any one has a tutorial pictures or process on how to do this would be great!

In terms fo plumbing my partners father is a tradie and said that its pretty simple to do, but i just want to ensure i have all the parts neccesary to complete.

    Thanks!

Brass T joints and flexible braided hoses are your best friend

I have 2 filter systems fitted under my sink
1 for drinking / cooking ect
1 is a dedicated coffee machine filter

Yes the dishwasher is still connected as well

Its the Ever Pure brand with quick change head
This is fitted with a special coffee machine filter 2CB GW (Gourmet water filter for coffee applications)

Its a bit hard to take a photo at the moment :

The dishwasher should have a pressure valve fitted on its own hose but I recommend a hammer eliminator valve for it

The filter system will also need a pressure reducer but you should check with the make you have if its already fitted
