JayBee. Wow. I am interested in learning more. What specifically did you experience? Better flavour? Fuller flavour? Smoother shots?

All of the above. But most importantly for me, I can get absolutely the same result every time (especially given that I weigh the beans rather than rely on the doser).

My 4080 was a step up for me originally, but I found as it wore out, I wasnt getting great results in the cup nearly as often as the grind subtly altered between shots due I expect to larger tollerances in the grinder. The arrival of my MM has ensured that the grind variable is tamed, and when it wears out, I can get parts easilly and cheaply making it a great long term investment.

And when you do put in those extra $$$ for s mega machine, you will already have the grinder for it!

What you can do is get a top notch grinder instead. It will make  a big difference to your quality an consistancy of shot. I bought a Mini Mazzer for my 6910 and it took the machine to a whole new level.

If you dont plan to spend thousands, dont upgrade.

there are plenty of upgrade options.
questions youd need to answer before anyone can give you meaningful options might be:
    - Do you have a budget limit in mind?
    - Is there anything in particular that you want from your new machine?
    - What type of drinks do you make?  How many, how often?

The most logical upgrade (IMO) would be the soon-to-be-released Breville dual boiler.  But there are other many options priced above and below that as well.  A visit to a CS sponsor is always recommended

    Gday everyone,

I am interested in feedback or suggestions of what coffee machines I should consider advancing to from my Sunbeam EM6900.

It is for home use only so do not need to pay thousands... Would appreciate all suggestions.
