Re: Baby Gaggia boiler/heating elements broke
The elements are "pressed" into the side of the aluminium boiler on the outside, 2 x U shapes,so I dont see that they could be replaced unless someone knows better.
Im thinking of selling it or at least the new pump.

Re: Baby Gaggia boiler/heating elements broke
Do you want to keep the machine if its going? Or have you got upgraditis ;D
The element should be separate from the boiler housing, so a replacement element should see the machine in working order again.
Shriro are the importer for Gaggia and they could tell you where you could source a heater element from.
If the element isnt separate, it will be an expensive exercise

Baby Gaggia boiler/heating elements broke
Hello all,
I have a Baby Gaggia about 12 yrs old.
After first 4 years Spent $200 with Coffee Mio Melb for a service including new Eaton
pump, steam thermostat and various gaskets washers.
The machine was in storage for 4 years, so its only been used for 8 years for only 2
cups each morning.
Patrs replaced:
New brew thermostat fitted 13 April 2006 Coffee Parts Item code 619293
New Group head gasket fitted 16 June 2006 Coffee Parts Item code 700150
New ULKA Vibrating pump fitted 16 June 2006 Coffee Parts Item code 617161-22
Now the boiler/heating elements have blown!!
Coffee Parts say they dont stock boilers and that they are not cheap!
I think it is time to let it go - Any thoughts on what it is worth as is?
