  • Saeco Incanto Steam Knob popped off

    Hi Guys

    I need some help

The knob on the RHS of my incanto Sirius pooped out this morning, I assume due to a build up off pressure in the machine(steam wand was blocked), I am trying to fit it back into the machine without dismantling it.

Does anybody have any idea how to do this?

    Thanks

Re: Saeco Incanto Steam Knob popped off

I have the incanto and Im assuming its the same thing- a silver bumpy knob that operates the steam. Only mine doesnt have a pressure release in it at all!
Ive taken mine off a number of times when dismantling the machine and its a simple process of sliding it back on.
Are you sure it popped off with the pressure from the steam?
Unbelievable! I reckon- clear the steam wand with a pin (wear gloves) and then pop the knob back on.

I am talking about the "silver bumpy knob that operates the steam"

Definately popped off when there was too much pressure build up.
It seems to have a pin that needs to be pushed in when it is fitted back in.
I am not sure if this can be done without taking the cover off.

Thanks for the post rayzurhed, I never realised that the Knob and the plastic assembly were two different parts.

I was able to seperate the knob from the rest of the assembly and then refit the plastic part to the machine by pushin gin the small part with a screwdriver and then pushing it into place.
