    Re: Lead Wool Availability ?

What sort of machinery are you trying to fix to concrete, and what is the position of the concrete, ie wall, floor, ceiling?

If youre anchoring in good concrete you might consider concrete bolts. Tapcon (http://www.confast.com/products/tapcon-concretescrew.aspx) is a brand widely available in the US that has worked very nicely for me in the past. No shims or spacers needed with them. Just be sure to drill the proper sized hole for the bolt youre using.

If you want to go the lead wool route you might want to look at Lag Shield Anchors (http://www.concretefasteners.com/anchors-fasteners/lag-shield/index.htm) as an option.

          Gday Tepin,
check the Ramset web site for fasteners, but not lead wool by the looks of it. As for the brass/bronze wool, try a specialty hardware shop or industrial supplies like Blackwoods, or maybe a local sheet metal shop could point you in the right direction.
