Im new to semi-automatic espresso machines, but have spent some time researching the net recently. I have narrowed it down to four machines at the moment.
1. ECM Giotto Premium
2. VBM Domobar Super
3. Expobar Minore
4. Wega Mininova
Re: VBM Domobar Super
there appears to be very little info on the net.
I did notice a NZ company has been working closely with VBM to improve models.
Photos indicate that on the left of the RHS press gauge there is a small light to indicate when the reservior water level gets low.
I went to checkout the Domobar at Crivelli in Melb and their model didnt have a light on the left of the RHS gauge. They said the Australian model doesnt come with that feature.
Q. Does it seem strange VBM would have a special model just for Australia?
Q. I like the fact that the Minore has 2 press gauges + brew temp readout; how important or valuable are these features (compared to ECM which only has a steam press gauge)?
thanks for your help.
this is a great site!
