  • Your dream machine

Yes, you have a bad case of upgradeitis.

You drool everytime you drop by a commercial coffee machine show room and have to put on th sunnies to stop the glare from all that polished chrome.... :P
But youve also won the lottery, and so can make a fantasy come true.

So, what is your dream machine? What would you be happy to splurge on, money being no object? :

    Over to you.

    Re: Your dream machine

An ECM Veneziano A1. The fantasy recently became reality and its everything that I hoped it would be, which is a rare thing. Most people think that I should be committed for such a "ridiculous" outlay, their words not mine. But it was cheaper than a Synesso, which also has major appeal and may win the chocolates in a moneys no object scenario.

      What is my dream machine?

One that would hand me a perfectly made cup as I stumbled by it in the morning and then replace it with another perfectly made cup through-out the day just as I took the last sip out of the one I had. ;D ;D ;D

Oh, and it would also do the dishes and wash the windows! ;D

Im extremely staisfied with my Expobar.

If money was no object then a Synesso.

When Id only had the Expobar a week Hazel let me pull a shot on a Synesso and it was the best Id made to date and probably is still up there.
If Im going to go from simple to the other extreme, then Synesso.

          phase 1 - collect Speedster
(probably have to grovel at the feet of Kees van der Westen for a Speedster. 6 made. If not, then hire a team of ninjas and do the needful)
          http://www.keesvanderwesten.com/oldwork/oldwork-13.html

phase 2 - use aforementioned ninjas and kidnap a couple of barista champs... chain em to the machine.

          phase 3 - [smiley=evil.gif] mwahahaha ... blissful coffee foreva : ;D

Seems like Versalab could do with an Italian stylist makeover. Otherwise....nice.

I wouldnt mind a GS3, but with the $6700 AUD RRP, I can only dream.
