Re: Tamper #2000 promotion - discussion

In case theres any confusion remaining Sammus, if its just one tamper youre ordering then any accessories in that order are considered to pertain to that tamper. However if youre getting more than one tamper with accessories then it would be impossible to determine which accessories were for which tamper, in which case theyre split in the pro-rata manner described.

I love my wenge handle - sometimes I just catch myself staring at it!

Is that weird? I think Im weird.
It might sound it for those who havent seen the Wenge but its a truly beautiful wood with so much intricate character.

Ahh I get it now... just as I got the idea that if youve made at least 1000 and havent reached 2000 yet, surely if I order 1000 tampers in a single order one of em will make my order free

Well for those who want to win the free 2000th (or 3000th) tamper..... or just want to order at tamper from us (or ask an email question)....

If Bigpond is your ISP.... they are blocking most other ISPs incoming emails (including ours).... and this has been happening since Friday. Although they have promised to "fix the problem" - as far as I can tell - it still isnt fixed!!!!

So apologies to those who have asked questions and havent received a reply.... the reply has been sent but it just gets returned....

So anyone on Bigpond with friends and relatives (or customers if you use Bigpond for your business) who send you emails - if they are with another service provider..... you probably wont get them!!!

Ill resend replies as soon as Bigpong (and no that is not a typo ;D ;D) get their act together

              Robin.

If anyone else is having this issue, PM may be the best way in the interim.

Ladies and Gentlemen, WE HAVE A WINNER!

                  Congratulations to coffeesnobs member.......

                  SINKAS!!!!

Sinkas submitted our 2000th tamper order at 7:30 on the evening of Monday 12/5 - a Deluxe tamper for a Quaha Napoletana with a Checkerboard handle. Courtesy of Pullman Espresso Accessories, Sinkas will receive his tamper completely free of charge! An appropriate winner since the Napoletana was the very first machine I made a tamper for!

Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun, and a big thanks to Coffeesnobs for being an important part of the Pullman story!

                  Greg

A special thakyou post to the Pullman Team.

I met up with Robin, the Perth Pullman guy, at Ditto espresso in Canning Bridge, for the handover of tamper No 2000.

                          Looks great: works great.

When you say springs, does that mean that you do a 30lb preset tamper?

Nope, springs as in portafilter springs, to hold the filter baskets in.
