Hi drew
Jura Ena Fully Automatic Home Machine (0504)
A fully automatic cappuccino and espresso machine that is slim enough to fit on the smallest of spaces. Built in grinder, automatic frothing and available in 7 different colours
Available from Cosmorex or Gilkatho
But it may be about $1200

Who wants to be first to drink the one on the right? :-?

As much as it pains me to have to ask this (please dont sentence me to decaf just yet)... What are you thoughts on a reasonable super auto in the <$1000 range?
The reason for this question being that after staying with a friend, and him using my Jura X90 every day, hes gotten quite enamoured with the idea of getting up, hitting a button and having a caffeine hit delivered to his cup without having to think. Given that Im now moving out, and hes about to be stuck with instant *shudder* Im toying with getting him cheapish super auto, as a thank you.
Soo... you opinions are hereby sought on a machine that can:
-grind its own beans
-clean itself, or at least have some kinda rinse/clean cycle
-make a reasonable long black
-steam milk automatically.
Any advice is appreciated as I dont wanna land him with a lemon...
