Re: VBM Fix for leaky Drip Tray Handle
Measure across the flat ends of the hex if possible and you will have your spanner size

Re: VBM Fix for leaky Drip Tray Handle
Thanks KK
I wanted to see if tightening them would work
If not, add some plumbing tape and / or a washer.
Needed to know spanner size as will have to go buy one.

Re: VBM Fix for leaky Drip Tray Handle
It’s a good question because the older type washers fitted to roof screws/nails were made of leadOriginally posted by garbage link=1224894098/0#1 date=1224933377Is that a rubber washer or a steel washer? If steel, does it rust?
However these are Definitely Rubber
In the picture they look cream because the screw heads were painted the colour of the roof sheets

VBM Fix for leaky Drip Tray Handle
I have been looking for a cheep and easy fix for VBM owners that have a leaky
Drip Tray Handle
This washer is perfect in all ways
DIY & cheap
Water proof
Heat resistant
And the correct size
I recommend that you get a hold of a couple of small roofing screws that are also commonly used for sheet steel
Remove the washer/s from the screw/s (it is easy)
And use them on your leaky VBM Domobar Drip tray handle
See photo of what I mean
Another problem solved
