Just bought 4 latte glasses and 2 espresso ones - got them from Macmonts (hospitality industry suppliers) for $48 for four latte, $16 for two espresso - loved them since seeing them at the XO Supper Club and Maggie Beers farm 8-)

Ive had two of each (latte and espresso). Ive broken a friends once (beer mug sized one - spectacular explosion!)

They are fine in the dishwasher - the logo will wear off but the glass has no problems

I also had the pavina, long and short glasses. The long ones both cracked (my wife was going through a clumsy stage) so I wouldnt recommend the large sized ones. The others however have been fine (unless you drop them).

However, I recently got the canteen ones as well (mid sized) and prefer them now, as they are more stable (the pavinas are like egg shaped, so not too stable).

I hand wash mine every day, after I finish the coffee, and then back on top of the machine. Easy to clean, great glasses, look good as well.

Im a fan of the Bodum double-wall glasses, having accumulated several of the convex-sided Pavina model over the last year or so. In hindsight, I would have gone for the Assam or the conical-tapered Canteen because they are marginally easier/more secure to hold.

Ive had no problems with cleaning them in the dishwasher.

Where to buy them? Ive seen them in many Myers stores, some House stores, and at a coffee specialist in Balaclava (not a site sponsor, so I dont know if I should name em).

The double-wall glasses are great for keeping coffee warm (or cold drinks cold) if you sometimes find yourself distracted by work or by an attention-seeking child. Having a home office, its often both…
I bought some bodum pavina espresso glasses at a Myer where there was a 30% off sale on coffee / tea items. This was about a week ago.

My first post here, and whaddya know, im after some new glass :-)

Where can i find Bodum brand glass besides going online? Any shops around the city/shopping centres that sell Bodum? Most online retailers seem to be out of stock of the 250ml Bodum Assam glasses.

    Cheers.

I bought a couple of the latte ones and a couple of the espresso ones a few months ago. Shortly after receiving them I thought perhaps I should have bought a gold fish or Betta to put in them, but after a few months of use Im completely stoked. Still look brand new after hand washing.

I had two of the Assam Espresso glasses. I now have one. >

The only problem with the insulation is that when they do break - theres twice the glass all over the kitchen floor.

Ive also read somewhere that they are semi-allergic to a dishwasher.

Have seen them in some of the google vids, very cool looking
