Re: Digital thermometer adaptor
I think we are hijacking the thread.
ooops!
I really like Gras new toy and will see what we might be able to do with the existing CS software this week. (I needed a new project!)

I like the way you think Andy 8-)Originally posted by 6A454F522B0 link=1260164655/6#6 date=1260603441Hmmm.... would it be better to have logging of the temps?
Im thinking that we could source the adaptor for a multimeter probe and then you could use the CS software to log it over the day (in something like 5-10 second plots)
Interesting.
:
I wonder if it will talk to my Scace using the old original adaptor shipped with USB multimeter??
The Fluke thermometer I have (at megabucks) and its associated software (rubbish and also at megabucks) only saves the data but doesnt log it in real time....
Your thoughts?

YesOriginally posted by 080C2A333336293E315F0 link=1260164654/2#2 date=1260396028Im guessing this is the one ex-US? id love for one of the sponsors to supply some of these! great tool by the look of things.
Well with the unit giving me my group head temperature I now know when its ready to pull a shot after warm up which is around 35 min,the group head runs at 97-98* when I do a cooling flush it raises to 101* then I let it drops down to 97* and pull the shot this is in line with Erics test result which puts the temp at 92* at the puck.Originally posted by 323E2B2B00173A3333263E2D5F0 link=1260164654/1#1 date=1260385483what have you observed so far?
After installation I knocked back my boiler pressure to 1.2 from around 1.5 out of the box this has not made any difference to my steaming capabilities but if you where to go much lower it would take bit longer to steam milk.
As for in the cup I must say that my shot have improved heaps in "taste :P" and consistency I am very happy with my purchase
Cheers Gra ;D ;D.
