Re: Cleaning the Shower-Screen - Need help

Hi There, My shower screen needs a clean because it is not flowing water through it like an actual shower.  I can not find any screw however to remove it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is a pic.

Looks like it has not been used in ages..

Extra details as to make and model and your location would help as not every one here has access to the new Google backtrack application...

Yep.. That buzzing in the background is their new tracking and monitoring app. Helps service people to work out who they are talking to...

Ohooo  almost looks the same..  An e61  ;D randys site has all the info and tricks.

Its held in place by the black rubber group head seal. Remove the black rubber seal (may need to put a screw into and pull out with pliers if it is really stuck) and the shower screen will come with it.

I find the easiest way is to use a stubby flat screwdriver to gently lever the shower screen and seal out.
          Dont rush.
You need to work your way around the screen and prise it down, a little bit at a time, all around several times.

Wow, thank you all for the information. I will take a look at randys site.
I wonder if i could ask if the water is meant to gently flow out...or flow out like an actual shower. Thanks again, Dashadoo
